LONDON SYMPHONY ORCHESTRA

The London Symphony Orchestra, conducted by Sir Antonio Pappano and Janine Jansen, will perform works by Boulanger, Barber and Rachmaninoff.

“L´ITALIANA IN LONDRA” BY DOMENICO CIMAROSA

The two-part Intermezzo in musica with a text by Giuseppe Petrosellini was first performed at the Teatro Valle in Rome in 1778. Set in a London hotel, the light-hearted Intermezzo in musica features ingenious arias, duets and ensembles that propel the plot of thwarted love, quarrels and misunderstandings. Director R.B. Schlather’s production at the Frankfurt Opera is a charming, sophisticated and very witty romantic comedy.

“GIULIO CESARE IN EGITTO” BY GEORG FRIEDRICH HÄNDEL

The Frankfurt Opera is famous for its excellent ensemble, which can also brilliantly cast leading roles. George Frideric Handel’s most famous opera, ‘Giulio Cesare in Egitto’ (Julius Caesar in Egypt), first performed in London in February 300 years ago, is being given an extraordinary performance at the Frankfurt Opera this year.

“DRACULA” BY JOHANNA WEHNER AFTER BRAM STOKER

Johanna Wehner, known for her elaborately composed text condensations and atmospheric world designs, stages Dracula at Schauspiel Frankfurt as a musical production about the abysses of the human psyche and probably the most famous vampire in literary history.

The star violinist will perform an exclusive extra concert featuring tracks from his award-winning best-selling album ‘ICONIC’! The “fastest violinist in the world” has already thrilled his fans in the summer of 2023, when he performed at the Wiesbaden Kurpark Open Air.

Frankfurter Golf Club

Frankfurter Golf Club is located in a secluded forest, its gently undulating topography reminiscent of the sand belt courses to the west of London.

Hardly surprising as the 18-hole layout was designed in the late 1920s by Harry Colt one of the world’s greatest golf course architects and creator of Wentworth and Sunningdale’s renowned layouts. Visitors are welcome, but pre-booking is essential. The Squaire Concierge can arrange tee times.

Deutsche Bank Park stadium

The home stadium of the football club Eintracht Frankfurt, it was opened in 1925 and is owned by the city of Frankfurt.

Aside from the soccer stadium, the complex also includes other sports facilities, including a swimming pool, a tennis complex, a beach volleyball court and a winter sports hall. The arena has its own railway station. Please ask The Squaire’s Concierge for more details or to book tickets.

Süwag Energie Arena

The Süwag Energie Arena is a 5,000 all-seater capacity stadium and home to the professional basketball team, the Fraport Skyliners. It also plays host to volleyball, tennis and indoor soccer matches. Check the arena’s website for upcoming events or ask The Squaire’s Concierge.

Fraport Visitor’s Centre

Fraport Visitors’ Centre at Frankfurt Airport is a fascinating 1,200 sq m multimedia and interactive exhibition. Augmented reality applications, hands-on stations and fascinating glimpses of entire airport worlds that normally remain hidden behind the scenes let visitors experience Frankfurt Airport in an entirely new way.

Frankfurt City Forest

At 48 square kilometres this is the largest inner-city forest in Germany. Nature paths, jogging routes and mountain bike trails criss-cross the forest floor, while there are 1,600 seating benches and 25 rest huts when you need to take a break, or want to admire the natural beauty. Six playgrounds and nine ponds also make the forest a popular local attraction.
